Diablo 2: Resurrected might have a shiny new gloss of paint and some quality of life improvements, but it's essentially the same game as the original version that was released over 21 years ago. This means puzzle solutions and story locations are the same.

Act II of Diablo II: Resurrected starts simply enough. In the first quest, Radament’s Lair, you’re sent into the sewers of Lut Gholein to destroy a powerful undead creature. But there, you find a Horadric Scroll, which immediately makes things a lot more complicated.

In the first quest in Act 2 – Radament’s Lair – you will pick up the Horadric Scroll. This will be your first clue towards finding the exact location of Tal Rasha’s resting place. To do this, you will need to assemble the Horadric Staff. This will lead you to the Claw Viper Temple, and later to the Arcane Sanctuary. It is in the Arcane Sanctuary that you will find the Symbol of the True Tomb of Tal Rasha.

Once you've assembled the Staff, venture back to Lut Gholein and head down through Harem and the Palace Cellar until you reach the Arcane Sanctuary. Neither location has branching paths, so you'll reach it eventually.

After reading the journal, bring up the menu and tab to the Quests screen. Hover over the active quest, and the correct Tal Rasha's Tomb symbol will be displayed in its description. Players should then go through the red portal and into the Canyon of the Magi. Search the sides of the map for the various tombs, and enter the tomb with the same symbol displayed above its entrance as is shown in the quest description.

There are seven tombs in the Canyon Of The Magi, all labeled Tal Rasha’s Tomb. The True Tomb Of Tal Rasha is marked with the same symbol you now have in your journal. Look for it above the entrance and on a small pillar beside the entrance.The true Tomb has the same symbol above its entrance as the one you discovered by interacting with the Horazon’s Journal in the Arcane Sanctuary. Enter it and use your Horadric Staff to activate the altar. And be prepared for a very tough fight, as you will need to battle Duriel.

Either way, once you have the journal, the Canyon opens up. We've covered how to deal with the Seven Tombs puzzle already, but make sure you're ready for a difficult fight once you've finished. Duriel is waiting for you in Tal Rasha's Tomb, and he's much tougher than his sister, Andariel.
